On the third day of the 21st Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. India continued its splendid performance by winning two more gold medals in weightlifting. India is currently fourth in the points table and the number of medals is still expected to increase further. India’s performance in weightlifting is superb and all 6 medals till date in weightlifting.
There will be 30 competition in different events on the fourth day i.e. on April 8th – the athletics (4), cycling (4), gymnastics (5), lawn balls (2), shooting (3), swimming (8), table tennis (1) and weightlifting (3).

Cycling from 1.02PM – Deborah Herold and Aleena Reji in Women’s Keirin from 1:00 pm onwards (Round 1), 3:35 pm onwards (Round 2), 4:05 pm onwards (Finals). Manjeet Singh in Men’s 40 Km Points Race from 1:15 pm onwards (Qualifiers) and 4:30 pm onwards (Finals). Sanuraj Sanandaraj, Ranjit Singh, Sahil Kumar in Men’s 1000m Time Trial Finals from 2:15 PM onwards. Monorama Tongbram and Sonali Mayanglambam in Women’s 10 Km Scratch Race Finals from 3:50 PM onwards.
Hockey from 5:00 AM – Women Pool A: India vs England, Male Pool B: India vs Wales.
Badminton from 6:31 AM onwards – India vs Singapore in Mixed Team Semi-Final.
Table Tennis from 6:15 AM onwards – Women’s Team Semi-Final – India vs England.
Shooting from 6:00 AM – 10m Air Rifle – Ravi Kumar and Deepak Kumar. Boxing from 7:47 in the morning – Women 48 kg – Mary Kom, 69 kg – Lovina Borghain, Male 75 kg – Vikas Krishan.
Artistic Gymnastics from morning 10:57 – Pranati Nayak in Women’s Vault Final, Rakesh Patra in Men’s Rings Final.
Swimming from 7:08 AM – Sajan Prakash in 100M Butterfly. Basketball from one o’clock in the afternoon – Women’s India vs New Zealand, Men’s India vs Scotland.
