Guruji Shrii Arnav from Gemstoneuniverse was one of a few key note speakers who spoke at the 2nd Gandhi Peace Dialogue on the 26th of November. The topic was, Solving World Crises by Gandhian Philosophy.
The event was organized leading educational organization, the Gandhi Institute of the Rangsit University in Thailand. The second dialogue was organized with the speakers and the educational organizations being centered around the main theme of “Solving world crises through the use of Gandhi philosophy”. This theme is more important now than ever, and the speakers aimed to form a thinktank of ideas pertaining to Gandhi philosophy and its relevance to the world and its current events today.
The event was held at the Holiday Inn Silom, located in Bangkok, a beautiful location with luxurious features. The gallery of guests was made up of various notable figures including numerous senior diplomats and dignitaries, the former Minister of Foreign Affairs for Thailand HE Kasit Piromya, Guruji Shrii Arnav- spiritual guru, acclaimed author, mentor, thought leader and renowned Astro Gemologist.
Many of the keynote speakers stood out with their relevant and thoughtful comments on how Gandhian philosophy could be effectively applied to the world’s events today. During the event, it should be noted that the Deputy Chief of Mission for India, Mrs. Alpana Dubey, considered Gandhian philosophy to be very relevant in the modern age, especially during these times of the pandemic. Respected Guruji Shrii Arnav made the case that the 5R philosophy could be applied to the COVID-19 pandemic, with countries coming together to form plans with decisions that are Rapid, Remote, Reasonably risk free, Result oriented and Ready for any challenge.
For many, this was seen as very relevant and effective in showing the Gandhian philosophy in action during the year of 2020. In addition to this, the event marked the release of Guruji’s Thai language edition of his highly praised and acclaimed publication “The Secrets of Jyotish Gems”, which is published by Har- Anand.
The event also featured a souful rendition of the “Bhajan”/ Hymn, which was known to be loved by Mahatama Gandhi.
The event was overall a success and helped many people to see the ways that Gandhian philosophy could be effectively applied to the world and its events today, as well as the other highlights of the day.
