Virat Kohli has once again made another record and made his fans and country proud with a remarkable achievement. Shoaib Malik became the third man to cross the 2000-run milestone in Twenty20 International cricket on July 1, and India’s lovable player, Virat Kohli, entered the club on July 3. Other members in the “most-runs-in-T20” club are Brendon McCullum and Martin Guptill.
Sticking to singles, he scored a 22-ball 20*, in India’s eight-wicket win over England in the first of three T20Is at Old Trafford on Tuesday. He is also the fastest to the mark in terms of innings played as he scored 2000 runs in his 56th T20I innings while McCullum had made it to the club in 66 hits.
