Their research marks its presence in the journal Heart. The conclusion of the research work shows that the people who consume eggs on a daily basis show a significant reduction in the risk of the cardiovascular disease.

As we all know, the major contributor to the deaths and the disability is the prevalence of the cardiovascular disease. No region finds an escape from the cardiovascular problems. The significant issues of the cardiovascular diseases are the ischaemic heart diseases and the hemorrhagic as well as the ischemic strokes.

According to a previous study, the prominent source of dietary cholesterol is the egg. In addition to the dietary cholesterol, the egg contains the high-quality proteins, vitamins and also the bioactive agents such as the phospholipids and the carotenoids.

The current research on the egg consumption and its effect on the heart disease involves a research team from the China and the United Kingdom. The research team is led by the Professor Liming Li and Dr.Canqing Yu. Both the professors hail from School of Public Health, Peking University Health Science Center. The research focused on the associations between the egg consumption and the ischemic heart disease, cardiovascular heart disease, major coronary events, and the hemorrhagic and the ischaemic strokes.

For the study, the researchers focused on four lakhs sixteen thousand two hundred and thirteen patients. All of them were assured to be free of the cancers, cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and diabetes.

The analysis of the study infers that the daily egg consumers had about twenty-six percent lower risk of the hemorrhagic strokes. It is the type of the stroke which has a higher prevalence rate in China in lieu of the high-income countries. Also, it has a twenty-eight percent lower risk of the hemorrhagic stroke death and the about eighteen percent of the lower risk death of the cardiovascular death (CVD).
