Hi Lokolil thanks for speaking with us! Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Hi I’m Lokolil and I’m a 21 year old rapper from The Bronx.
How would you describe the music you make?
I make music that makes you feel as though you been through exactly what I’m talking about.
Has music always been your passion?
My passion for music has come from being down and not really having too much coming from the trap. We wanted to try something new out and it’s working.
What inspires you when you are creating songs?
My dead people inspire me and my lifestyle inspires me when I am writing a song.
Your single “You Are My High” was a huge hit! Can you tell us about the process of making this song?
I made that song with my kids in the studio because they give me mad energy. It was a song that had a lot of feeling in it.
What do you think makes you unique as an artist?
I’m unique because I’m Lokolil. There is only one of those who can’t be recreated.
