Haan knows without flawless production, a song is incomplete. We all enjoyed Kid LAROI and Justin Beiber’s song “Stay.” And today we’ll chat about one of the project’s creators, Haan, an Australian producer.

Haan, who is nineteen years old, is one of the few hip-hop producers from Sydney, Australia, in the American music scene. His father, who made and played instruments as a hobby, exposed him to music from a young age. Around the age of eight, Haan began playing the guitar and keyboard, imitating songs he heard on the radio, such as the Fugees’ “Killing Me Softly.”

Haan and Kid Laroi met at a concert where they were both prohibited owing to age restrictions. After the concert, Haan and Kid Laroi rejoined in Sydney, Australia. In comparison to America, it was a small scene back there. They were huge rap fans, and their neighbourhood had a small but vibrant rap scene that was highly influenced by American and British culture. They were the only ones who could compose music at such a young age.

During a recent conversation between Genius and Haan, we discovered a lot about his journey into the music industry. According to Haan, he didn’t start producing until January of last year. He spent most of his time messing around with things and listening to music. He used to do vocals, record himself, and write music with LAROI when living in Australia. He was actually DJing when he travelled out here [to Los Angeles] with him. He used to do DJ parties and gigs when he was younger.

Haan collaborated with Charlie Puth, FnZ, Cashmere Cat, Omer Fedi, and Blake Statkin on the Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber single “Stay,” which went to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, No. 1 on Spotify’s Global Streaming chart, and No. 1 on Billboard’s Global 200 chart for a record-breaking ten weeks. Among Haan’s collaborators are Juice WRLD, G-Herbo, and Sydney producer Khaled.

WARNER CHAPPELL MUSIC (WCM) and HAAN, an Australian producer, have formed a co-publishing partnership.

Haan is ecstatic to be joining the WARNER CHAPPELL family and adding his name to the excellent roster of WARNER CHAPPELL producers. He’s eager to get started with the team and learn new ways to improve as a producer and entrepreneur. He extends his gratitude to everyone who helped him achieve this goal.

“Haan is already a master of his craft, having collaborated with some of the industry’s top artists,” said Ryan Press, President of Warner Chappell Music North America. “We’re thrilled to be working with him, and we’re excited to see what the future holds for him as he continues to write music and grow his career.”
