Sunrisers Hyderabad easily defeat the Mumbai Indians by 31 runs to defend the second lowest target in the history of Indian Premier League to once again prove that how strong their bowling line up is. Rashid Khan won the ‘Man of the Match’ for his magical spell of 4-1-11-2.

Mumbai Indians won the toss and took a good decision of bowling first as they bowled out the opposition for 118. Kane Williamson opened the batting for SRH and started well as he hit two boundaries off Jasprit Bumrah in the very first over. But in the second over McClenaghan got the wickets of Dhawan and Saha.

All MI bowlers bowled well as an inning of 29 runs each for Williamson and Pathan. Hyderabad posted 118 on the board and Mumbai was expected to chase down the target easily to record their second win of the tournament. But that never happened as only Suryakumar Yadav (34) and Krunal Pandya (24) were the only two batsmen who scored runs in double digits.

Wickets kept on falling at regular intervals as Mumbai could post only 87 runs. All SRH bowlers bowled exceptionally well as everyone got a wicket at least with a very cheap economy as well. Rashid Khan was well accompanied by Siddarth Kaul (4-0-23-3) as they were the leading wicket-takers, supported well by rest.

With this win, SRH move up to the third place at the Points Table with 4 wins in 6 games as Mumbai still remain at the second last spot. Their middle order has to start firing if they to make it to the playoffs this season as right now their chances look very bleak.
