IPL 2018 is all set with its opener being scheduled on April 7 and it couldn’t be better to start with the old rivalry of Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.

With the comeback of the yellow lions back to the Indian Premier League, it will be a great pleasure for all the fans out there who had been eagerly waiting for this particular day. Great emotions were seen during the promotions and warm-up games of the teams among the fans.

Players like Harbhajan Singh and Ambati Rayudu who have served the MI camp in the past are now with Chennai and they both also have great opportunities to play today. Apart from that both teams have plenty of new faces also; with the likes of Pat Cummins, Evin Lewis, Mustafizur Rahman and Ishan Kishan in the MI squad and Shane Watson, Kedar Jadhav, Shardul Thakur and Karn Sharma in the CSK dugout, it will be interesting to see how they begin their this season’s IPL campaign with these teams.

Though in the head-to-head, we get to see that Mumbai has won 12 contests out of 22 games played till date but as CSK is making their comeback to the IPL, it will be cracking game to witness and the men in yellow will look to better their record.
