Kings XI Punjab are returning to IPL after one week break as they will take on Mumbai Indians in the 34th match of IPL 2018. This match will take place at the Holkar Stadium, Indore which is the adopted home ground for Punjab.

Even after not playing for a week, KXIP have managed to be in the top 4. But they will look to forget the way they played in the last game as they were clueless to the SRH bowlers after they failed to chase a target of 132. On the other hand, it’s a must win game for Mumbai Indians if they want to fancy their chances for the playoffs.

Batting in the middle overs is the major concern for Punjab as they are not able to do well if their openers fail to score big. On the other hand, nothing is going well for Mumbai as they just have been placed on the last spot in the Points Table.

If Evin Lewis gets fit, he is expected to make it to the playing XI which will rule put Kieron Pollard who has been a major disappointment for Mumbai. Punjab is also expected to replace Barinder Sran with Mohit Sharma as the former had been on the expensive side.

A lot of runs are expected to be scored as it is that pitch only where Rohit Sharma scored the joint fastest T20I 100 just a few months back. Whosoever will bat first will look to post at least 200 on the board as anything less than that can be difficult to defend.
