We are down to the final day of the league stage in IPL 2018 and in its first match, Delhi Daredevils will host the Mumbai Indians at the Feroz Shah Kotla.

DD has nothing to lose from here as they were already out of the tournament way too back but if MI loses, they will miss out from a spot in the playoffs. If they win today, they’ll move up to the fourth place and will almost qualify, courtesy to the superior net run rate.

Delhi won their last match convincingly when they handed the CSK a thumping defeat. Their youngsters like Harshal Patel, Vijay Shankar, Sandeep Lamichhane did very well in that match and they would like to repeat that today as well.

Mumbai Indians are always seen pulling out miracles and this year also they did something similar. They were placed at the last spot in the first half of season and now they are on the brink of qualifying. It would not be easy as they would be aware of DD’s last match performance but they wouldn’t want their efforts to go in vain.

Delhi’s pitch, just like every day won’t be offering much runs as it will assist the bowlers, especially spinners. This was seen in the last match as well where DD spinners, Mishra and Lamichhane bowled exceptionally well talking full advantage of the conditions.
