The American multinational telecommunications company Motorola will launch flagship smartphones of 2018 possibly in April and they would be Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play. Interestingly, the prices and full specs of both the G6 series phones were leaked online on Frys, an American online store, prior the launch. However, the listing has now been pulled down by the e-commerce website. Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play were priced at $249 and $199, respectively. The new G6 series phones will be affordable and will not burn a hole in the pocket. According to the list, both smartphones will have 32GB storage.

As per the listing, Moto G6 will have a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display which will be protected with Gorilla Glass. There will be an 8-megapixel sensor paired with a LED flash on the front and will have the Face Unlock feature too. The fingerprint sensor will be just below the display. The smartphone will be powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. The availability of this phone is expected to be on May 10.

Moto G6 Play will come out to be a less expensive model. It will have 5.7-inch Full HD+ display 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a 13-megapixel sensor on the rear. Additional camera features such as landmark recognition, object recognition and active photos (similar to the existing live photos feature in iPhones) will be found in both Moto G6 and G6 Play. G6 Play will have some features such as front fingerprint scanner, a microSD card slot, Dolby Audio, and supports Moto Experiences (Moto Display and Moto Actions). According to the online listing, G6 Play will come with 32GB of internal storage and 3GB RAM. The shipping of this phone is expected to be around mid-May.
