Sunrisers Hyderabad easily outplayed the Rajasthan Royals in the fourth match of the IPL 2018. They won the match by nine wickets with 25 balls to spare and Shikhar Dhawan was named as the ‘Man of the Match’ for his brisk knock of 77 runs.
The match began after SRH won the toss and asked RR to bat first. Skipper Ajinkya Rahane and D’Arcy Short began the proceedings for Rajasthan and while all the RR batsmen got out for low scores, Sanju Samson kept them in the picture with his 42-ball 49. All the five bowlers bowled exceptionally well with Siddarth kaul(4-0-17-2) and Shakib Al Hasan (4-0-23-2) in particular. Rajasthan posted 125/9 at the end of their 20 overs.
While chasing an easy target of 126, Dhawan and Saha came to open the batting for SRH. While Saha got out in the second over of their inning for just 5 runs, this turned out to be the only success for RR with ball. Kane Williamson(36) and Dhawan (77) ensured SRH a thumping win.
