After a span of one day, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab will again face each other but this time at the former’s home ground, Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur. It’s is one of those must win game for the hosts to qualify for the playoffs.

Both teams have made much changes to their playing XI as RR have shuffled a lot of players like Klaasen, Short, Butler, Tripathi, Rahane for the opening spot. While Punjab made changes in their middle as they played many players like Miller, Finch, Tiwary and Yuvraj Singh.

KXIP will be happy to play RR again as in the last match they won beautifully and Rajasthan, on the other hand looked way too weak. RR’s performance in this year’s IPL have been very forgettable as their captain Ajinkya Rahane is not performing. Neither is performing their big players like D’Arcy Short, Jaydev Unadkat, Ben Stokes which is the main reason why they are placed at the last place in the Points Table.

Punjab is unlikely to make any change to their playing XI as they will like to continue with the winning combination. Rajasthan, on the other hand, might get Dhawal Kulkarni back in the team in place of Anureet Singh. Also, Short might get replaced with Heinrich Klaasen as the former was not able to perform up to his name.

Jaipur’s pitch will be beneficial for the spinners as it will be a turning track. Due to this, not the hosts but Punjab will be having an advantage as they have some quality spinners in their side in the form of Ashwin, Mujeeb and Axar. But Rajasthan will look to put their bit to win this match and keep their hopes alive for qualifying for the playoffs.
