A new glorifying moment for the medical fraternity of the United States! A woman in the United States was carrying a big tumor in her abdomen. It weighed about one hundred and thirty-two pound, which resembles sixty-kilograms in the standard conversion system.

The woman is thirty-eight years old and was gaining weight abnormally. The rate of her weight gain is recorded to be ten pounds per week. Her abnormal weight gain continued for two months before she approached the doctor.

Also, she was malnourished, as the part of her ovarian tumor resided on her digestive tract. It was painful for her immediate relatives to see her in the wheelchair due to her overweight and swelling in her legs. The part of her tumor was also on residing on her major blood vessels. Thus, she was at the fear of the cardiac arrest too.

Dr. Vaagn Andikyan and his team of twenty-five highly skilled clinical specialist concluded the tumor surgery. It was performed at the Danbury Hospital in February 2018. The hospital is located in Connecticut.

Dr. Vaagn Andikyan said, “I might expect to see a 25-pound ovarian tumor, but a 132-pound tumor is very rare.”

The operation lasted long for five long hours. Finally, the doctor’s panel succeeded in removing the 132-pound tumor. Also, the doctors also had to carve out one her ovaries, and the excess fats stretched out due to the tumor elongation. The tumor, however, was benign; and the tests are being performed how and why it grew in such a great size.

After two weeks of hospitalization, the doctors released her claiming that she would recover soon. The identity of the women has not been disclosed either by the hospital or by herself.

We all pray for her healthy living henceforth!
