Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued Admit Card for National Eligibility Cum Entry Test (NEET) 2018 for undergraduate examinations. Students can download their NEET Admit Card by logging in to the official website of the CBSE at Cbse.nic.in or Cbseneet.nic.in. NEET (UG) 2018 exam will be conducted on Sunday, May 6 at 10 a.m. CBSE has said that no change will be made in the exam schedule.
Let us tell you that as a Single Window All India level exam, CBSE will hold the exam of NEET 2018. NEET 2018 will fill MBBS and BDS seats in Government Colleges, Private colleges, Deemed Universities and Central Universities. However, AIIMS and JIPMER will remain out of it. NEET has replaced the earlier AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical Test) and all state-level and university level entrance exams. Since 2017, NEET has been working as a common platform for medical and dental admissions in India. After long delays, NEET 2018 registrations was begun on 8th February.
What is the eligibility criteria NEET 2018?
According to NEET Eligibility Criteria, the Indian citizens, NRIs, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are all allowed to sit in the examination. Only students of Science stream who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as Core Subjects in Classes 11 and 12, will be eligible for admission to MBBS and BDS seats through NEET.
These students must pass in the 12th with an average of 50% marks in physics, chemistry, and biology (40% for the reserve category). The minimum age of candidates should be 17 years on December 31. They should be born on May 7, 1993, or later (1988 for the Reserve category).
