British teenager Alexander James Rodriguez is back and channeling his inner George Michael with his latest chart-topping single release ‘Freedom’. We learned via Chill Out Radio that the Brit chose this bop, originally by pop duo WHAM! as a fun summer song ahead of his next original music releasing later in the year.
It is no surprise the 14-year-old selected this song, of recent months the teen has been referenced in the media as the next George Michael, and although these are big boots to fill, we feel confident Alexander will reach international stardom.
Oozing with live instruments, and with the cover art carefully planned out to include the “Choose Life” T-shirt, popular in the 80’s with Wham! fans, and the color spectrum underneath the Wham! font, to represent diversity and inclusion, Alexander’s ‘Freedom’ has been carefully planned out.

The music video for Alexander’s ‘Freedom’ was filmed partly at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) and the newly opened Selfie Wrld Los Angeles in Glendale, with footage from Alexander’s recent live and studio performances.
Alexander James Rodriguez rose to fame at age 13 when he received the ‘Rising Star Award’ at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards, for his debut single, ‘My Crew’. Predominantly known as an actor, the teen transitioned to music during the height of the pandemic last year.
‘Freedom’ from Alexander James Rodriguez is out and available for download on iTunes and all digital streaming platforms including Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, TikTok, Pandora, DEEZER and more!
