Jay G P Bangz (Born James Perez) discovered music at age 14 in the group home where he lived. Before owning his own equipment Jay P would spend hours a day at a Bakersfield music store teaching himself piano and saving songs in the piano’s memory.
Jay G P Bangz practiced and taught himself at that music store, almost everyday, usually until the store closed. After months Jay P was able to purchase the piano he had practiced on everyday after earning the thousands of dollars it was worth.
By the age of 20 Jay P had worked with various Bakersfield artists, contributing to the Central California sound. At 30 Jay G P Bangz is a RCAA Gold Record Producer, President and Founder of FMBS and has since worked with various artists including; RJ, Mozzy, Y.G. 400, and E-40 .
Jay P has his music featured in Marvel’s movie “Black Panther”, and is currently working on his own VST and music production training programs. Jay P likes to spend his free time staying fit, and enjoying time with family and friends.
