The National Aeronautics and Space Administration will be organizing a mysterious conference in this week of June. Let us get ready for the two ‘new science results’ from their Mars study.
The conference will be focusing on the findings of Curiosity rover. The Curiosity rover is currently on the mission to explore the facts about the Red Planet. NASA posted on its website, “The media and public are invited to ask questions during a live discussion at 2 p.m. EDT Thursday, June 7, on new science results from NASA’s Mars Curiosity rover.”
Michelle Thaller will accomplish the chat during the ongoing conference. Michelle is an assistant director of science for communications under the Planetary Division of the NASA. The entire discussion will be live on NASA’s website.
The focal point of the conference will reside in exploring the findings of the Mars Exploration Program. The Mars Exploration Program has been studying the Red Planet since August of the year 2012. One can say, that the eyes of every conference onlooker will focus on the Mars Exploration Program research contributions.
The mission Mars Exploration Program was launched with the primary objective of assessing the Red Planet’s environment which is supportive of the complex life forms. If yes, then whether it could facilitate the visitors to make human settlements there on the Martian surface in future.
The Curiosity rover is known to support a set of advanced instruments with all the high-tech facilities. These instruments were carefully crafted to analyze the Martian surface and soil. In addition, to the analysis of the Martian surface, such instruments aids in drilling the Martian rocks. All these observations will assist the geniuses of NASA to assess whether the current Martian environment is same as it was earlier.
The conference is scheduled for Thursday. It will begin from 19:00 BST onwards. For those space-savvy people, NASA had organized a query resolver platform wherein you can ask your queries with the hashtag #askNASA via social media.
Let us get energized for this conference which is scheduled on Thursday and enjoy the Martian discovery from the eyes Curiosity rover.
