Top two teams at the Points Table, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Chennai Super Kings will face each other in the 46th match of IPL 2018 at the latter’s adopted home ground, Pune.

Chennai Super Kings started to this tournament extremely well but their recent form have started to worry them as they have lost three out of their last 5 matches. Unlike every season, it’s their bowling that have let them down this time. To correct this, they have tried many permutations and combinations among Karn Sharma, Imran Tahir, Harbhajan Singh, David Willey, Lungi Ngidi and Shardul but they have failed to find a perfect one.

While on the other hand, everything is going well for SRH as they have lost just two games this season. They sit well on the top at Points Table with 18 points in 11 games and it is almost confirmed that they will finish in the top two. The only concern for them is the performance of Bhuvneshwar Kumar after he had returned from injury, is not quite consistent but the kind of bowler he is, it is not quite a major thing to worry.

SRH was claimed to be a too much bowling dependant team but after they chased a big total in the last game, this thing also wiped out. Manish Pandey’s form in the middle is also another small question that SRH would like to address.

A turning track will be offered at the MCA Stadium and it was seen during the CSK-RCB where Jadeja and Harbhajan Singh performed extremely well. If that would be the case in this game as well, then it would be a treat to watch out for Rashid Khan and Shakib Al Hasan as they are the core of the best bowling line up in this year’s IPL.
