Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju, a biopic based on the topsy-turvy life of film star Sanjay Dutt, is busy breaking old records and making new ones. It is racing towards the Rs 150-crore mark. After earning a whopping Rs 34.75 crore at the box office on the day of its release, it has now earned 145.41 crores till day and there seems to be no stopping. It has made its place in the top seven films to enter the Rs 100-crore club this year. As far as the reviews are concerned, it is clear the Sanjay Dutt’s and Ranbir Kapoor’s fans would not mind watching the film again on the big screen.

The film has received a lot of appreciation and remarkable reviews. Sanjay Dutt’s character is played by Ranbir Kapoor and he has proven to be the best choice for the role. Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal play significant roles in the movie.

The film fraternity, too, praised the director and the stars. In an interview with Indian Express, Vicky Kaushal expressed his elation by saying, “Shooting for Sanju was an incredible process. First, for me, it was a dream come true to be working with Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor in the same film. These are the two people I admire, respect and adore. Also, while working I realized they are beautiful human beings. So, it was an amazing and a learning experience. Also, it was amazing to know Sanju sir’s life so personally by being a part of the film.”
