Sunrisers Hyderabad will host the Kolkata Knight Riders in the second match on the second last day of playoffs, IPL 2018. SRH are assured of a place in the knockout stage while it’s a must win game for KKR.

Both teams are placed well at the first and third positions respectively at the Points Table. But if KKR loses tonight then they might have to lose their spot as RCB and MI, which are placed below them have a superiority of the NRR.

KKR will be playing this game with high confidence as they won their last two matches convincingly against KXIP and RR. Performances from the likes of Narine, Karthik, Russell, Uthappa is a major consistency for them while their other players have also contributed. Kuldeep Yadav bowled magnificently well in the last game which was a major issue solved for Kolkata.

SRH, on the other hand, was looking undefeatable two matches back and now their bowling have been tested on good batting tracks where have not performed well. Rashid Khan has done well throughout but the fitness issues over Bhuvneshwar Kumar is an issue to address for them. If he is available today the only possible change in their side is he will be replacing Basil Thampi who had a horrible last match.

There are no chances of rain interrupting the match play while the pitch is likely to remain slow throughout the game. It will help the spinners and the seamers bowling slower balls.
